CCW 2018 – Review

“You’re crazy my child, you have to go to Berlin.”

This year’s CCW (Call Center World) in Berlin was not exactly crazy, but visitors were able to immerse themselves in the exciting world of call centers and be inspired by the latest marketing strategies. To stand out as a company among the 270 international exhibitors in an area of 8000 m2 was a challenge, but we enjoyed it and did so with great success.

It was hectic for us from day one. We had only just arrived when the first visitors wanted to know who and what was hiding behind the optimistic green colour of our company logo. We tried to respond to all of the many questions we were asked in our team of three, but pretty soon had to admit that we were a little overwhelmed and understaffed. The rush was huge and many of the interested parties – thanks to the brilliant organization of the CCW – had already inquired about us in advance and arranged appointments. They stormed our stand with concrete questions and plans with a view to potential collaborations.

The interest continued over days two and three, as visitors walked away with our business cards, promotional gifts (power banks) and leaflets. Given the intensity of the interest, we were completely exhausted at the end of the day and headed to our hotel rooms as soon as possible. This made seeing Berlin as a tourist a bit difficult – but we will be back, with reinforcements!
